This web site provides sequence resources of reptiles. Primarily, here we share genome and transcriptome sequences of the Madagascar ground gecko (Paroedura picta) produced by
us,
using animals supplied by Laboratory for Animal Resource Development, RIKEN BDR.
In addition, we will expand our scope to cover more reptilian species, such as crocodiles and snakes that are not available in other integrative sequence archives (e.g., Ensembl, NCBI).
The name of this web server 'Reptiliomix' consists of 'Reptilio' ('reptile' in Esperanto) and 'omix' adapted from '-omics' (like genomics).
